{"id":1415,"date":"2022-02-05T09:27:51","date_gmt":"2022-02-05T16:27:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/olivereats.ca\/?p=1415"},"modified":"2022-02-05T09:28:29","modified_gmt":"2022-02-05T16:28:29","slug":"golden-rum-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olivereats.ca\/index.php\/2022\/02\/05\/golden-rum-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Golden Rum Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Super easy, very moist, very yummy!<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 c chopped walnuts or pecans<\/li>\n<li>1 pkg (18.25 oz) yellow cake mix<\/li>\n<li>1 pkg (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix<\/li>\n<li>4 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c water<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c dark rum<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c butter<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 c water<\/li>\n<li>1 c white sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c dark rum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heat oven to 325F.&nbsp; Grease and flour a 10&#8243; bundt pan.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle chopped nuts evenly over bottom of pan.<\/li>\n<li>In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix and instant pudding.<\/li>\n<li>Mix in the eggs, 1\/2 c water, oil, and 1\/2 c rum.&nbsp; Blend well.<\/li>\n<li>Pour batter into bundt pan.<\/li>\n<li>Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.<\/li>\n<li>Remove pan from oven and let sit for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Turn cake out of pan onto serving plate.<\/li>\n<li>Make the glaze by putting butter, 1\/4 c water, and 1 c sugar into a saucepan.&nbsp; Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.<\/li>\n<li>Remove sauce from heat and stir in 1\/2 c rum.<\/li>\n<li>Brush glaze over top and sides of cake allowing cake to absorb the glaze.&nbsp; Repeat until all of glazed is used.<\/li>\n<li>Serve with whipped cream or ice cream<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<p>Thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/mywebsitehere.com\">https:\/\/allrecipes.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Super easy, very moist, very yummy!
