{"id":1419,"date":"2022-02-18T09:57:56","date_gmt":"2022-02-18T16:57:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/olivereats.ca\/?p=1419"},"modified":"2022-02-18T10:01:26","modified_gmt":"2022-02-18T17:01:26","slug":"taco-pie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olivereats.ca\/index.php\/2022\/02\/18\/taco-pie\/","title":{"rendered":"Taco Pie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Delish and feeds a group.\u00a0 There likely won&#8217;t be left overs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PIE<\/li>\n<li>1 pkg of wraps<\/li>\n<li>2-3 lbs of hamburger meat<\/li>\n<li>2-3 pkgs of taco seasoning<\/li>\n<li>1 lg or 2 medium jars of Tostitos Salsa Con Queso (cheese)<\/li>\n<li>2 medium jars of salsa<\/li>\n<li>lots of shredded marble cheese (3-4 cups)<\/li>\n<li>GARNISHES<\/li>\n<li>sour cream or plain yogurt<\/li>\n<li>chopped green onion<\/li>\n<li>extra salsa<\/li>\n<li>chopped fresh tomatoes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a large DEEP frying pan, start browning the hamburger on medium heat.<\/li>\n<li>When the hamburger is almost cooked, add taco seasoning and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Add the salsa and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Add in the Salsa Con Queso and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Leave to simmer for 1\/2 hour or so to thicken the mixture<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, spray a large casserole dish (at least 3&#8243; deep, roughly 9&#8243; x 13&#8243;) with Pam cooking spray.<\/li>\n<li>Put in a single layer of wraps. Cut pieces to fit so that you have an even layer.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t let the wraps go up the sides of the dish.<\/li>\n<li>Spoon in a layer of hamburger mixture&#8230;about 1\/3 of the total.<\/li>\n<li>Add another layer of wraps.<\/li>\n<li>Add another layer of hamburger mixture&#8230;another 1\/3.<\/li>\n<li>Add another layer of wraps.<\/li>\n<li>Add remaining hamburger mixture.\u00a0 Make sure that the wraps are sealed with the hamburger mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle shredded marble cheese on top&#8230;.lots.<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 350F for 1\/2 hour or so.<\/li>\n<li>Remove from oven and let sit for 1\/2 hour.
