{"id":1651,"date":"2024-06-28T16:19:23","date_gmt":"2024-06-28T22:19:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/olivereats.ca\/?p=1651"},"modified":"2024-09-07T09:59:59","modified_gmt":"2024-09-07T15:59:59","slug":"chicken-burgers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olivereats.ca\/index.php\/2024\/06\/28\/chicken-burgers\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken Burgers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Very tasty!\u00a0 You can add more coriander \/ cumin and maybe some chili flakes if you want it spicier.\u00a0 I make them oblong to fit into flour tortillas.\u00a0 Serve with hummus, sliced cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and tzatziki.\u00a0 Roll them up and enjoy!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cookingfever.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/Chicken-Zucchini-and-Fresh-Corn-Burgers-2-819x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Chicken, Zucchini and Fresh Corn Burgers Recipe\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 lb. ground chicken or turkey<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c panko bread crumbs<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c or more grated zucchini, water squeezed out<\/li>\n<li>1 lg egg<\/li>\n<li>3 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 can corn nibbles, drained<\/li>\n<li>3 green onions sliced thinly<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c bell pepper finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp ground cumin<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp ground coriander<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 tsp ground pepper<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven to 425F<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl combine all ingredients and mix well.\u00a0 If the mixture seems too wet, add more panko crumbs. Form into patties.\u00a0 I like to put them in the fridge \/ freezer for 20 minutes to firm up.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a large frying pan to medium heat.\u00a0 Add oil to cover the bottom of the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Sear the patties for about 2 minutes on each side.
