You can make them sweeter if you prefer by adding some honey.<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WET INGREDIENTS<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c butter, soft<\/li>\n<li>3 eggs<\/li>\n<li>2 large or 3 small bananas mashed<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c unsweetened apple sauce<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 c brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>3 tsp cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>2 tsp vanilla<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp baking soda<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 c honey (optional)<\/li>\n<li>DRY INGREDIENTS<\/li>\n<li>3 c rolled oats<\/li>\n<li>1 c all purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c hemp hearts<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c chia seeds<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c flax seeds<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c almond flour (or all purpose)<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c unsweetened medium coconut<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 c pumpkin seeds (optional)<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/4 c raisins, rinced and drained (OR 1 c raisins and 1\/4 c chocolate chips)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heat oven to 350<\/li>\n<li>Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper<\/li>\n<li>Mix all the wet ingredients in food processor, blender, or mixer.<\/li>\n<li>Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl<\/li>\n<li>Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and combine until it just holds together.\u00a0 You can add a bit more applesauce if it seems too dry.<\/li>\n<li>Scoop large tablespoons of mixture onto parchment paper and press down lightly.\u00a0 \u00a0Cookies will not spread on their own.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 12- 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Best kept in a sealed container in the fridge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<p>Thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/mywebsitehere.com\">Sarah Richardson<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These cookies are barely sweet and provide great energy on active days.\u00a0 I prefer these instead of granola bars.
