{"id":259,"date":"2016-11-06T10:49:54","date_gmt":"2016-11-06T17:49:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olivereats.ca\/?p=259"},"modified":"2018-12-08T14:34:34","modified_gmt":"2018-12-08T21:34:34","slug":"butter-tarts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olivereats.ca\/index.php\/2016\/11\/06\/butter-tarts\/","title":{"rendered":"Butter Tarts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For mini tarts (20 &#8211; 25 minutes at 350F)<\/p>\n<p>For regular tarts (15 minutes at 375F)<\/p>\n<p>Use frozen tart shells. 1 1\/2 times recipe will fill 50 mini tart shells.\u00a0 1 recipe will fill 30 regulart tart shells.<br \/>\nThaw shells about 10 min before filling<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>frozen tart shells<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 egg<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tsp. lemon flavouring<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 1\/4 c currants, washed and soaked for a few minutes until soft<br \/>\n(Note: 1 pkg (500 g) of currants=3 cups)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 tsp. salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 cup brown sugar, packed<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">4 tbsp melted butter<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 tsp vanilla<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"instructions\">\n<li class=\"instruction\">Preheat Oven<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Beat egg (not very much), gradually add brown sugar, salt, vanilla, and lemon flavouring. Add melted butter.
