{"id":314,"date":"2016-11-06T16:21:12","date_gmt":"2016-11-06T23:21:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olivereats.ca\/?p=314"},"modified":"2016-11-06T17:05:12","modified_gmt":"2016-11-07T00:05:12","slug":"raspberry-oatmeal-muffins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olivereats.ca\/index.php\/2016\/11\/06\/raspberry-oatmeal-muffins\/","title":{"rendered":"Raspberry Oat Muffins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(20 to 25 minutes at 400F)<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup oats (quick cooking)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 egg, beaten<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup buttermilk (milk plus 1 tsp of vinegar)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 cup shortening, melted<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3\/4 cup brown sugar<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup raspberries (without syrup) (try blueberries or peaches for a different flavour)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tsp baking powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 tsp baking soda<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 tsp cinnamon<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup flour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<ol class=\"instructions\">\n<li class=\"instruction\">Preheat Oven to 400F<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Combine oats and buttermilk and let stand 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">In a separate bowl combine next 6 ingredients. Mix well.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add egg and shortening to oat mixture.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Add to dry ingredients.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Stir just till moistened.
