{"id":580,"date":"2017-05-14T14:39:56","date_gmt":"2017-05-14T20:39:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olivereats.ca\/?p=580"},"modified":"2017-05-14T14:42:51","modified_gmt":"2017-05-14T20:42:51","slug":"grilled-spareribs-with-cherry-cola-glaze","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olivereats.ca\/index.php\/2017\/05\/14\/grilled-spareribs-with-cherry-cola-glaze\/","title":{"rendered":"Grilled Spareribs with Cherry Cola Glaze"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">4 12 ounce cans of Black Cherry Pop<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 cups cherry jam or preserves<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2\/3 cup Dijon mustard<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 cup horseradish<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3 tablespoons soy sauce<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 tablespoons malt vinegar or apple cider vinegar<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">7.5 lbs of pork spareribs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3><\/div>\n\n<ol class=\"instructions\">\n<li class=\"instruction\">Boil Black Cherry pop in a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat until reduced to 1 1\/2 cups, about 45 minutes. \u00a0Stir in the rest of the ingredients (except ribs). \u00a0Reduce heat to medium and simmer until mixture is reduced to 2 1\/2 cups, stirring occasionally, about 35 minutes. \u00a0Transfer glaze to a large bowl (can be made 1 week ahead. \u00a0Cover, chill. Bring to room temperature before using).<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Heat oven to 325. Line bottom of roasting pan with foil and place a rack in the pan. \u00a0Cut the ribs into sections about 2 or 3 ribs each. \u00a0Salt\/pepper the ribs and back lid on for about 2 hours total.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Cool ribs, pour off fat.
