{"id":734,"date":"2018-11-27T19:34:04","date_gmt":"2018-11-28T02:34:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olivereats.ca\/?p=734"},"modified":"2018-11-27T19:34:06","modified_gmt":"2018-11-28T02:34:06","slug":"easy-pad-thai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olivereats.ca\/index.php\/2018\/11\/27\/easy-pad-thai\/","title":{"rendered":"Easy Pad Thai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Quick and easy recipe that leaves lots for leftovers!<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode-ingredients\"><h3>Ingredients<\/h3><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 package pad thai or vermicelli noodles<\/li>\n<li>4 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1 bell pepper, sliced thin<\/li>\n<li>Bean sprouts or cabbage or any other crunchy vegetables, sliced thin<\/li>\n<li>2 chicken breasts, sliced thin<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup crushed peanuts (optional)<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup fish sauce<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup sriracha sauce<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup rice vinegar<\/li>\n<li>1\/4 cup lime juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"shortcode-directions instructions\"><h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Combine fish sauce, sriracha sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and lime juice in a bowl. Set aside for later<\/li>\n<li>Heat up wok or large fry pan with sesame oil<\/li>\n<li>Scramble and cook the eggs, take off heat and set aside for later<\/li>\n<li>Add more sesame oil to the Wok\/pan and add the sliced chicken<\/li>\n<li>Start a pot of boiling water for the noodles<\/li>\n<li>Add the bell peppers to the Wok and fry for a few minutes<\/li>\n<li>Add the noodles to the boiling pot of water and cook according to the directions on the package<\/li>\n<li>Add remaining vegetables, cooked eggs, cooked noodles, and pad Thai sauce.
