Peanut Butter Granola Bars

Great snack! High protein.  Travels well.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c smooth peanut butter
  • 1/4 – 1/3 c honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 c rolled oates
  • OPTIONAL ADD INS:
  • 1/2 pkg chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c raisins
  • 1/4 c pumpkin seeds or nuts of your choice

Directions

  • Put the peanut butter in a large bowl and microwave for 10-15 seconds so that the peanut butter gets a little bit runny.
  • Mix in the honey and chocolate chips if you are using them until mixture is well combined
  • Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix well
  • Pour into a parchment paper lined 8×8 pan
  • Put in the fridge for an hour to firm up.  Cut into sizes of your choosing.
  • Enjoy
