Easy and tasty! You can use beef short ribs or flank steak.
Ingredients
- For the Marinade
- 1/2 c soy sauce
- 1/4 c packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp peeled, finely chopped ginger
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 5 lbs beef ribs
- For BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 c hoisin sauce
- 1/4 c sweet hot pepper sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin (similar to soy sauce)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Directions
- Combine marinade ingredients and pour over ribs. I like to use a zip lock bag. Marinate overnight if possible.
- Fire up the BBQ and cook the ribs. Depends on the size but likely 10 min a side on 350 degrees. Throw out used marinade.
- When ribs are done, coat with BBQ sauce and cook 2 mins more to brown (not burn) the sauce.
- Serve!
