Peanut Brittle


  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted peanuts
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp Baking soda


  1. In medium sized pot put peanuts, syrup, and sugar on medium heat.
  2. Cook until brown, about 20-25 min.
  3. Add 1 tsp baking soda and stir for 1 minute.
  4. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet and spread quickly.
  5. Break into pieces when cool.
