(1 hour at 425F)
- Chicken pieces with skin
- 1/2 to 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- Preheat Oven to 425F
- Coat chicken with flour and seasonings by tossing in plastic bag.
- Put ¼ c shortening and ¼ c butter in shallow casserole dish and put in over to melt.
- Put chicken in pan skin side down.
- Bake 30 min.
- Turn skin side up and bake another 30 min. Drain and serve.
