Bake for 1 hour @ 350F
Ingredients
- Potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 onion thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp grated cheddar cheese
Directions
- Arrange potatoes and onions in alternating layers in baking dish
- Melt butter in saucepan
- Add flour and cook several minutes
- Add garlic and mustard
- Remove from heat and add a small amount of milk
- Mix in thoroughly after each addition
- Return to heat and continue cooking until think. Stir constantly
- Add seasonings
- Pour over potatoes
- Sprinkle with cheese. Bake
