Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas (about 4-6 bananas)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips (adjust to your taste)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan
- Mash your bananas with a fork in a large bowl. Make sure to have a mixture of larger and smaller chunks of banana. Stir in eggs, butter, and sugar and mix together until well combined.
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt together before adding it to the wet banana mixture. Stir together until most of the flour is combined, but not all.
- Add in your vanilla extract and stir into the mixture. Finally, add the chocolate chips to the batter and mix together until all the flour is mixed in.
- Pour batter into your loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the middle. Let cool completely before serving.
