Coffee Cake

(45 to 50 minutes, 325F)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, soft
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Topping

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven to 325
  2. Cream butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, and sour cream. Beat until well mixed.
  3. Sift together dry ingredients and add to cream mixture. Stir till mixed.
  4. Put 1/2 of batter into pan (in lumps).
  5. Sprinkle 1/2 of the toppings on it.
  6. Put remainder of batter and top with topping putting batter to fill the holes from the 1st layer.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes
