Ingredients
- 2 cups rice cooked
- salt
- pepper
- Clove of garlic
- Cayenne pepper
- Seasoning salt
- 1 lb bacon, chopped and fried crisp
- 1 lg onion, chopped
- Cabbage leaves, cooked
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup butter
Directions

Sauté onion in bacon fat.

Add along with bacon to cooked rice with seasonings.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Layer cabbage leaves in large buttered casserole dish.
- Brush with melted butter.
- Add layer of rice.
- Top with cabbage leaves.
- Heat sauce ingredients and pour over before baking.
