Pecan Squares

(1 hour at 350F)

Use a 9″x12″ pan

Ingredients

Base

  • 2/3 cup icing sugar
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/2 lbs soft butter

Topping

  • 2/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp. cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven to 350

Base

  1. Sift icing sugar and flour together. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  2. Press in the bottom of a greased pan and bake for 20 min.

Topping

  1. Combine ingredients and spread over crust.
  2. Return to oven and bake 25 minutes more.
  3. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
